About us
The Fellowship is led by a team. Gordon Tanner
is the overall leader with his wife Gill; they are supported by a
team of deacons – Christine Churchouse, Michael Mayes
and Daniel Holland.
Church-goers for many years, Gordon and Gill were
born again soon after moving to Norfolk in 1987, and by 1990 God had
formed a church around them. By training Gordon is a chemical engineer
though he has now retired from all engineering. Gill trained as a
physiotherapist but stopped practising a few years ago.
We try to respond to situations as they arise, so
individuals are given responsibilities as the needs are acknowledged. We
have valued support from Rebecca Holland, Betty Flett, Suzie Richardson and
others.
Gordon and Gill took a sabbatical break from September to December 2006 during which time Kevin and Naomi Colwell stood in for them. Kevin had just finished the Ichthus Christian Fellowship's Radical Network leadership training, and this was his first role in pastoring.
