Alpha

For people who want to find out about Christianity we offer Alpha courses using material and content from Holy Trinity Church, Brompton Road, London. This is offered without fee. www.htb.org.uk

Beta

For those who complete Alpha and want to study some more, we run a Beta course, based on Derek Prince's Teaching from Hebrews 6.1-2, The Spirit Filled Believers Handbook.

ICIT

The third stage in our discipleship programme uses the teachings of Francis Frangipane and the internet-based course he runs from Cedar Rapids Iowa. It is called "In Christ's Image Training" (hence ICIT). This is a six month programme of bible teaching. For those with leadership aspirations there are additional modules that can be taken after this course.

Town Prayer

Town prayer is now on the first Friday of each month and linked into the Norfolk based “First Fridays” prayer groups all across the county. Every third meeting we hope to have a speaker who will help to inspire our prayer

Nursing homes

We co-ordinate visits to two nursing/residential homes in the town. Other churches have taken on visits to others. We visit Driftwood Residential Home on the first Wednesday in the month at 10.30pm, and Nightingale Lodge Residential Home at 4pm on the third Tuesday in the month.

Parent/Toddler Group

Mums or Dads with young children are welcome to come to the Parent/Toddler group on a Wednesday morning. Voluntary donations are requested for refreshments, but no charge is made for the session.

Open Air Services

Occasionally, and weather dependent, we borrow the town bandstand and conduct open-air worship services for the holidaymakers.

We co-ordinate with the Hunstanton Council of Churches in the summer, so that special holidaymaker services are offered on Sundays throughout the school summer holidays.

Sunday School

Sunday School is run in parallel with the preaching in the main service on most Sundays. It is geared to 4-11year olds. There are also crèche facilities for younger children with a sound relay of the sermon, but we have to ask parents using this to supervise their own children”.
