The building
For several years the fellowship met in Gordon and Gill’s home in the nearby village of Old Hunstanton, but in 1997 they were led into the town itself and started worshipping in the local community centre. The former magistrates’ court became available in 1999 and the fellowship purchased it as a building site. However the building was not demolished but refurbished with new electrical and plumbing services etc, redecorated and opened as a place of worship in February 2000.
During 2007-8 we extended the building, by adding 50% more floor area to the
cafeteria room, and installing a set of folding acoustic doors between the
worship room and the cafeteria. This gives potential to host meetings of well
over 200 seated or to use the two rooms separately”
We do make the building available to other Christian organisations seeking a
place for away-days, Alpha days, etc. If your organisation is interested in
