WHAT IS BETHEL SOZO MINISTRY?

Thank you for your interest in the Bethel Sozo Ministry.  We are privileged at The Way CF to be a part of this ministry in the UK.

Bethel Sozo is a unique inner healing and deliverance ministry.  The main aim is to get to the root of those things that get in the way of our personal connection with our heavenly Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit.  Sozo does this by exposing lies we have believed, replacing them with the truth, and healing wounds.

This ministry began in Bethel Church, Redding, California, and was founded by Dawna DeSilva and Teresa Liebscher.  It was introduced into the UK in 2008 and is now part of the ministry of hundreds of diverse churches across the UK.  You can find out more from the Bethel Sozo UK website: www.bethelsozo.org.uk.

‘SOZO’ is the biblical Greek word which, translated into English, means ‘Saved, Healed, Delivered.’

Salvation “…. if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (sozo).”  (Romans 10:9, NKJV)

Healing “…. Jesus turned around, and when He saw her, He said, ‘Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well (sozo).’  And the woman was made well (sozo) from that hour.”

(Matthew 9:22, NKJV)

Deliverance “They also who had seen it told them by what means he who had been demonised was healed (sozo).” (Luke 8:36, KNJV)

A Sozo Session

A Bethel Sozo session generally lasts around 1.5 – 2 hours and is conducted by two people who will, with the help of Holy Spirit, walk you through the process towards freedom and wholeness.  It will be a time of interacting with Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit, discovering more about your God-given identity and destiny.  Sozo does not create dependency on those who minister, rather it empowers the individual to walk free and powerful.

A Bethel Sozo session is not counselling, but a time of interacting with Father, Son and Holy Spirit, when:

Wounds are healed; Strongholds are broken; Truth is revealed; and Open Doors are closed.

• Sozo is simple, fast, Spirit-led and effective
• Sozo finds issues in minutes instead of years
• Sozo helps deepen your relationship with God to enable you to fulfil your destiny

Our Sozos take place at The Way Christian Fellowship, Downs, Close, Hunstanton, Norfolk, PE36 5HU.  However, if our location is not convenient for you, there are many other churches offering this ministry.  You can check on the Bethel Sozo UK website (see above) for the one closest to you.

Although face-to-face ministry is much preferred it is possible to arrange for Sozo sessions to take place on Zoom.
